Mercey’s Commitment during COVID-19

Mercey Hot Springs’ healing water, fresh air, warm sun and dark sky will help you to regenerate and reconnect with your inner-self. And, our individual accommodations as well as our unique and safe individual soaking tubs will provide you peace of mind and solitude while you soak away the tensions and stress of our everyday lives.

Reservations are Required for Day-Use and Overnight Guests
  • Overnight stays can be reserved online or by phone.
  • We are implementing a limited number of occupancy in the resort and per unit till further notice.
  • Sorry no group reservations during this time.
  • Day-Use reservations may only be made by phone, between 9am and 8pm.
  • For Day-Use guests we will be open from 12pm (noon) to 5pm.
  • We will be allowing only ½ Day-Use Sessions (for up to 5 consecutive hours)

CHILDREN – Although children will be allowed, all Covid-19 precautions must be observed.

The well-being and safety of our guests and staff is our utmost priority. While following local, state and federal guidelines we’re taking the following steps in response to COVID-19 and, as we learn from experience and new information arises, these policies may be updated at any time and without notice. If you have any questions, please call ahead so there are no surprises.

We are committed to provide a safe and relaxing environment for all of our guests while at Mercey, but especially during this challenging time, we can only achieve that goal with your understanding and cooperation.

Please
  • Respect social distancing of 6 feet or more.
  • Wear a mask when appropriate.
  • Wash your hands frequently.
  • Use a Kleenex or the inside of your elbow if you need to cough or sneeze.
  • Stay home if you don’t feel well and have flu like symptoms, we’ll be happy to move your reservation to a future date with no penalty or fee.
  • Be patient.
  • And of course, enjoy your stay with us.
What You Can Expect When You Arrive At Mercey
  • Our staff will be smiling behind a face mask.
  • As much as possible, we’ll implement contact-less guest registrations and credit card processing.
  • Only credit/debit cards transactions will be accepted. No cash or checks.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available at check-in.
  • Hard surfaces will be disinfected frequently.
  • Our store goods will not be self-served.
  • We will not be providing coffee, hot tea, hot chocolate or use of the office microwave.
  • Pavilion Tent will be OPEN – please respect social distancing.
  • Common Area (Phoenix Building) will be CLOSED.
Pool And Hot Tub Areas
  • Outdoor Hot Tubs will be open from 7:30am to 11pm for overnight guests.
  • Swimming Pool will be open from 9am to 9pm for overnight guests.
  • For the comfort and safety of each guest and to help supplement our own rigorous sanitization, sanitizer spray will be available at each tub for guests to use as they deem necessary and adequate.
  • As many of you know, our individual tubs are spaced about 3 – 5 feet apart; some a little more and some a little less. If you are in the same party with another guest, you may use the dual (side-by-side) tubs. Otherwise, each guest may only use the single tubs. In all cases, we ask that everyone use appropriate social distancing whenever possible and limit your soak(s) to no more than 45 minutes.
  • Please, no back-to-back (continuous) soaks. However, guests will have the opportunity to have multiple soaks throughout the day.
  • As in the past, each guest will fill their tub themselves and regulate the temperature of the water to meet their personal preference. You can enjoy the benefits of the virgin, geothermally heated and healing mineral water that comes directly from the source with no chemicals added whatsoever.
  • Guests are asked to completely drain and rinse the tub after their soak.
  • The swimming pool will have limited occupancy to maintain social distancing as well as limited time of use.
  • Please respect that our pool is NOT A RECREATIONAL POOL (so no lap, Watsu, diving or jumping; it is to be used for rest & relaxation only.
  • We will not be providing noodle for use in the pool or at the tubs, but you are welcome to bring your own. Please do not bring flotation toys, mats, etc.
  • The Sauna will NOT be available at this time.
  • The Private (Indoor Tubs) located in the Bath House will NOT be available at this time.
Cabins, Airstreams and Campsites
  • Maximum of two guests.
  • All accommodations (with door knobs and keys) will be cleaned and disinfected before guests arrival.
  • Sanitizer spray and paper towels will be available in each room.
  • All items that are difficult to sanitize (decorative pillows and quilts) will be removed from the Cabins and Airstreams. Sheets and comforters will be provided however.
Walkabout (group house) and Group Campsites
  • Maximum of four guests.
  • All accommodations (with door knobs and keys) will be cleaned and disinfected before guests arrival.
  • Sanitizer spray and paper towels will be available in each room.
  • All items that are difficult to sanitize (decorative pillows and quilts) will be removed from Walkabout. Sheets and comforters will be provided however.
Public Restrooms

For now only three locations will be open:

  • Pool House Restrooms
  • Bath House Restrooms
  • Cabin Restrooms (Yin & Yang – near cabin #4)
  • Sanitizer spray will be available in each restroom to help supplement our own rigorous sanitization.
